When your track is taken down

When fromband upholds a copyright report about your track, the track is taken down and only your team can see it.

What you'll see

You get an email and a notification. Opening the track from Artist Studio → Music shows the claimant, the work, and the takedown date.

Requesting reinstatement

If you believe the track was taken down by mistake, the page owner can request reinstatement once, within 30 days of the takedown. Explain why with proof, agree to the statements, and sign with your full legal name. Your request, including your contact details, is sent to the claimant.

After you request

Unless the claimant tells fromband that they have filed a court action, the track goes public again between 10 and 14 business days after your request. It returns with the visibility it had before the takedown, and your plan's limits apply as usual. If fromband had restricted the track before the takedown, that restriction comes back.If the claimant tells fromband about a court action, the track stays taken down and you're told by email and notification. You can't request reinstatement again for that report.Repeat infringement and upload suspension
