RSS feeds and audio distribution
Follow public artist updates or listen to approved public audio in an external app.Set up your artist feed
The verified artist owner manages feeds in Studio → RSS. Enter the feed details and upload a square 1400–3000 px JPEG or PNG cover without transparency.Enable Updates RSS to share public track announcements and artist posts. For Audio RSS, validate the cover, select a track and version, confirm your distribution rights, prepare the audio, and publish the episode. Then enable Audio RSS and copy its URL.Which tracks can be distributed?
Audio RSS includes only original public tracks that are not offered for sale and that the owner explicitly approves. Paid and membership tracks link to their track pages; they do not include audio files in RSS. Private tracks, covers, remixes, restricted tracks, and fan posts are excluded from audio distribution.Changing the current version in the app does not replace an RSS episode. Prepare and publish the replacement explicitly. The episode keeps its identifier, so an external app may not automatically download the replacement.Stopping distribution
External apps can download RSS audio. Stopping an episode, making its track private or members-only, or enabling sales blocks new requests to its existing RSS file URL. Already downloaded files cannot be recalled.A stopped episode does not restart when the track becomes public again. Prepare and approve it again. Pausing a feed is reversible; permanently closing its URL is not.Statistics and diagnostics
External requests and bytes sent are separate from app plays, listening time, advertisements, and artist earnings. Downloads do not prove that a person listened.Use Check RSS delivery to check feed access and audio byte ranges. The public feed may take time to appear in an external app. Directory submission and acceptance are handled by the directory and the publisher.Move to another host
Transfer the files and preserve episode GUIDs at your new host first. Enter its public HTTPS RSS URL, add the verification code to its show description, then verify and confirm the move. New publishing is paused while verification is pending.The old audio RSS URL then redirects permanently. Keep the original artist page and account available to retain this redirect; deleting or locking the page stops it. The move does not copy files for you.
